Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

having felony reduced to misdemeanor

I was charged with assault and battery and recieved a 2 1/2 yr sentence. I served 1 yr with the rest suspended. I didn't realize i had pleaded to a felony count. Is there a way, in light of new evidence and extremely poor representation (mainly I was never told of what revise and revoke was and that it had to be filed within 60 days of your sentencing) to reduce to a misdemeanor?
