my fiance has been charged with 3 counts of dist.of marijuana in a school zone of over an once he has no priors or a record will he go to jail?

There is a mandatory sentence on the school zone charge (2 years). He should apply for a court appointed attorney or hire an attorney immediatley.

The only way to avoid the mandatory sentence is to negotiate with the da's office, file a motion to suppress, or get a not guilty after trial.
