Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

fofiture

my business was searched for drugs. Non were found, but cash was. eventually charges were pressed and dismissed. my attorney never returned my phone calls for over six months. I phoned the forfiture unit and was told that my attorney needs to withdraw from the case before it can be discussed with me. He did and they still wont. Stateing that he needs to withdraw in person infront of a judge. I'm just trying to get back what is mine. I have documentation showing where the cash came from and i feel that the state is screwing me and this attorney of mine is in on it. He has very close tyes to the head of the forfiture department

1. there is a deadline by which you can contest this in court.

2. If your attorney does not respond, and you need to have him respond, contact the BBO;

3. You can also retain another attorney, or sign some waiver of counsel to represent yourself.

SHould you have any further questions, contact me.
