Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
I am forty seven years old unfortunately I found myself in trouble at 19 with an assault felony 1st ever offense I have kept myself out of trouble for nearly thirty years , I have been in the security field for over ten years and have had back round checks done numerous time never having said felony appear . All of a sudden an employer denies me employment due to the bad back round check . Is it terribly expensive to have that removed from my record or even possible .? what if any is the statute for going back in time for employers

it depends on the charge. Generally you can have it sealed.
