Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Do I have to give a fingerprint
A person's house in my nieghborhood was vandalized. A jelly jar was thrown through his window. He suspects me because we had an incident in the past. He has contacted the police who have contacted me and are requesting that I submit a fingerprint. They stated that they have half a finger print and that even if I did it there is only less than a ten percent chance that they could make a positive identification. My question is, "Do I have to submit to a fingerprint testing and can they get a suponea to make me submit to one. I look forward to your reply as I can't ask anyone else. Thank you for your time.

Don't give them your fingerprints without a court order. You can only cause problems for yourself.
