can i own a gun even though i have been arrested for misd more than once

It depends where. It is up to the Chief of Police in each city or town. In Worcester, the answer is NO. Chief Gemme will not issue a license to anyone who has a criminal record, period. No exceptions. You can appeal the police chief's denial in court, but again, in Worcester, because he has applied the rule so evenly, no criminal record at all will survive an appeal.
