Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I just came home from active duty. While stationed in Texas I legally purchased 2 pistols and had them shipped to massachusetts with my house hold goods.I have not had chance to apply for a permit and wonder if i can be prosecuted if the gun is used in self defence from an intruder?

You have 60 days after leaving active military service (provided you were on active duty for more than 180 days) to apply for and obtain a firearms ID card. I recommend you take the required safety course and get a license immediately. This is the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and controlling the public here is a fanatic obsession... one of the few places in the world that would victimize you for defending yourself from a violent home invader.

yes.
