Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
What is going to happen?
I have 5 criminal charges against me. They include, Defective equipment, Attatching wrong number of plates, revocation of registration, sticker not attatched to plate, and operation of an unisured motor vehicle. I have a bad driving record as it is, i did the drivers reducation class 3 weeks ago. What is the worse thing that can happen to me? and do I need a lawyer to go to court?

You claim you have a 'bad' driving record and that is the first clue to your future. Many Courts of the Commonwealth view repeat offenders as dangerous to others and penalize them accordingly. In your case I would hazard a guess that you're looking at $1000 plus in fines, loss of license, and possible suspended jail time depending on how BAD your driving record really is. Without a lawyer, a bad record will get you the suspended jail time.
