Harrasment or Not?
My fiance passed away 1 mth ago.His next of kin lives out of state.The bills are still coming to my house.Docs call and I gave them next of kin address.They had a lawyer call me today and said I was harrasing her family by doing this.I was justforwarding mail.Am I in the wrong?Can I forward his mail to next of kin from my PO Box?

They are simply on automatic pilot. Unless you cosigned or agreed to guarantee or pay his debts, they are out of luck.

You need to ask the heir to file a forwarding request with the post office. I would also suggest that you change the telephone number.

You do not need to talk with any of these creditors. I realize it may be a pain over the short run, but that should be your target.
