Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

hey i recently found out i have a warrant for not going to court for this incident where i was stopped at a store and i saw a friend and i talked to him real fast and then he had to go so as i was gettin back into my car getting ready to back my car up out of the parking spot to park near the gas pump to get gas and cigarettes and an undercover cop pulled up behind me and pulled me out of the car and searched me and my brother and told me he saw me dealing drugs to my friend that i had stopped to talk to so he searched me and my brother and tore my whole car apart and found no drugs because i had no drugs on me and i had about $600 on me in my wallet as i had just gotten paid and i make $21 an hour and i had $30 in my pocket to pay for the gas and cigarettes and i had two phones, one personal phone and one phone my work had given me the officer took all my money and both my phones but let my brother keep his phone, he told me that my brother and i were under arrest for distribution and i asked distribution of what and he wouldn't tell me but before he put the cuffs on me he told me that he wouldn't be taking me in today that i'd get a summons in the mail for distribution but if i wanted my money and phones back to give him a call to work something out and i told him i couldn't help him because i don't know any drug dealers as i don't do or sell drugs and told me fine i'll see you in court, after a month i still hadn't received a summons then i moved and forgot to forward my address to my current address and its been about 3 months since that incident and my brother never received a summons so i just assumed the cops had taken my stuff and kept it but then last night i got pulled over and this nice officer informed me i had a warrant for conspiracy to violate drug laws and she was nice enough to let me go and not take me in as long as i go to court on monday and clear it up, my question is does it cost money to clear a warrant and will i be able to get my money and phones back and do they even have a case against me to even have made those type of allegations? also is it legal for them to take my phones and money without a warrant? they took them out of my pockets and took my wallet out of my back pocket and opened it up and took the money out. thank you

Joseph Murray Joseph M. Murray, Esq.

You should retain an attorney and not speak to anyone but your attorney about this.. Possession of Narcotics with intent to distribute is a very serious charge.

Good Luck!
