Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

hi,

i need help immediately. this is an emergency.

okay so my boyfriend stole 3 colognes from a locker room from my school, and there are people that are accusing him of having taken an iphone as well. he did take the colognes but he did not take the iphone. there was a witness who said he will use the cologne incident against him. i took the colognes from my boyfriend and put them back where he stole them from. can he still get in trouble by the police? nobody reported the colognes stolen and there is only one witness. also, the iphone has no evidence to say he stole it but they are trying to use the cologne incident to set him up. i need help immediately so he doesn't go to jail for 2 years because he is on probation!
