Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
My husband has to register as a sex offender level2 which we filed to have it lowered and the SORB board deemed him still a level 2 even tho the Judge and ADA didnt mandate he take any sex offender classes. The SORB used the fact that he didnt take any classes as a determining factor in their decision. He was however ordered to be evaluated for drug/alcohol abuse and to attend anger management classes which he attends every week. The offense that the ADA made him register as a sex offender was against me and there was never any threat to the public. How can we fight this as he will be labled for the rest of his life?
