Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
my husband's probation is ending and he would like a copy of the probation officer's reports from the three years he was on probation. the probation officer states that we would have to get a lawyer and file a motion before the court to get a copy. i thought i read somewhere that we could request a copy on our own. aren't we entitled to this information.

If it a question of filing a motion, maybe your husband can file the motion on his own.
