At my high school a person was stealing graphing calculators and cell phones from fellow students and then selling them through ebay. He was recently taken away by police as they had traced a cell phone form the school to his ebay account. He dropped many names including mine as being the suppliers to him of these stolen items. IU became involved because my name was brought up, I had given this person a calculator to sell on ebay which was not my own, but the police are accusing me of stealing multiple calculators. I was wondering if 1. Larceny in Massachusetts was a misdemeanor or a felony, 2. How far this persons word will hold up ina court of law, and 3. WHAT SHOULD I DO, im innocent beyond 1 calculator they however think im this kids right hand man and an aid in the conspiracy....

You should consult with an attorney. Larceny is a misdemeanor, but a serious crime nonetheless. From what you've said, you gave this other individual a calculator that did not belong to you, and he sold it on ebay. I don't know all of the circumstances, but it sounds like you will need legal help. Good luck.

1. Larceny over $250 is a felony and larceny under $250 is a misdemeanor.

2 and 3--You should definitely consult with an attorney and not speak to anyone before doing so.

Larceny under $250.00 is a misdemeanor. You may have trouble with the police AND the school if you are not careful. Get to a decent lawyer right away, and don't talk to ANYONE else until doing so.
