Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
malicious destruction of properity (2cts)
im having a little troubble. I have 2 counts of malicious destruction of property againt me. I have been informed that the person who is pressing charges has previous and ongoing personal problems with my self and my boyfriend. This person is saying that i destroyed her car and that her neighbors caught me and wrote my license plate # down. The thing is my back plate got stolen and that was the plate that they ''saw''. The same person accusing me of destroying theyre property had seen me, my car, my missing plate, and my front plate earlier that day. Another thing, The police are saying that they saw me running away from the scene as they arrived and saw me getting into my car. Why didnt they feel obliged to pull me over then? about an hour or so after this had all supposedly occured i got pulled over and arrested. Now i was NEVER read my miranda rights before i was questioned and a MALE officer patted me down and as soon as other officers arrived at the scene he threw me down on the back of my car. Another of the officers went to put laytex gloves on my hands and i was resisitng because i am seriously allergic to laytex. I have no idea what i should do and i would like some advice if you can help me out. Thank you very much.

I agree with Attorney Freeman. You are facing a very serious situation, and this bulletin board is not an appropriate forum to help you resolve this matter. I suggest that you consult with an experienced criminal attorney.
