Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Mass Citation, Criminal Application What can I do?

Mass Citation, Criminal Application

I was recently parked in boston when my truck was hit. Unknown to me the police came, towed my truck and issued me a citation in the mail for Uninsured motor vehicle and Unregistered motor vehicle. I was not aware, it lapts by mistake... Anyway I was issued a criminal application. What does this mean? What should I do? What am I really facing here??

Please help!

I posted before and the answer I got was based on my vehicle being actually registered and insured... I was not aware at the time but it was infact not registered or insured.

If the car was not registered or insured, it still must have been in your name, or else how did they get your name.

What you still do not tell us is where the truck was parked so that it could have been tagged and towed.

If it was parked on a public way, then the car can be tagged. There also may be a city ordinance that requires all vehicles to have plates, regardless of where they are parked.

I still need more data.
