Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

military probation

Hey all I am currently on probation. And I have restitution of 14,000 dollars. For some time now, sence b4 all this nonsence I have wanted to join the military. I have found a recruiter in the national gaurds who is going to try to help me and get me a waiver. Is there anyway I can get off probation early. Or change my conviction to ''continue without a finding'' as apposed to guilty. I need this in my life right now. Someone please help.

Re: military probation

Just because you found a good thing to do for yourself does not mean that the court is going to fall all over itself to help you. There are ways to get what you are looking for but do not expect the court to be anxious to agree or assist you. Hire a good criminal lawyer who can advise you on what to do to give yourself the best chance of success. Telling the court how much YOU want it or how good it will be for YOU, is not going to motivate them. Hire a good lawyer.
