Minor In Possession of alcohol What will Happen???

Earlier in the summer i was the sober driver driving my freinds to the beach when i got pulled over. They had alchol on them so i received a citation to go to court. I was not arrested. I went to court and they told me i could do community service and AA meetings but i had to decline because i go to school and play basketball. Now I have to go back to court. I'm not quite sure whats going to happen and i'm very nervous. Is there any possibility it can be dropped? If not what kind of fine would i have to pay? And do you think i will definatly lose my licence?

Retain an attorney. A conviction for minor in possession of alcohol besides a fine involves loss of license and reinstatement fees. If you are not guilty your attorney should demand a trial and make them prove you are guilty. That is your right! Good Luck!

A conviction for minor in possession of alcohol carries a mandatory license suspension and fine. At the end of a period of suspension, there is a significant fee charged by the Registry of Motor Vehicles to reinstate your license. Contact me if you wish to discuss the details of your case.
