Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I took my older brothers id and drove me and a buddy to a store, went in and bought an 18 of beer. I walked out, put it in the trunk of my car and got in. I was immediately boxed in by two unmarked police officers and was questioned. They found out the two of us were 16. They said we both have minor in possession of alcohol charges and on top of it I have a junior operators license in mass so they are trying to get me for driving other people too but they never saw me drive him when they came the car was off and we were talking. They never actually saw me drive the other person so can they get me on driving him? Also how do I go about theses possession charges?
