Re: outstanding warrant

There is always a chance that the District Attorney's office could ask for bail. There are also judges out there who put bail on cases when there is no request for bail by the District Attorney's office. Bail is an amount of money that a person has to pay in order to ensure their appearances at court. It really depends upon the type of case, how old the warrant is and your prior record (if any). Best advice I can give to you when removing a warrant is to go with an attorney. Hope that this helps. Feel free to contact me further if you have any other questions. Martha Kovner
