What is the penalty for check fraud in the amount of 28,000 dollars at a bank in
A check was deposited, in a bank without any knowledge that it was fraudulant, one week was waited until check was cleared, bank honored the check, by making the funds available. A warrant was out for my arrest in Ma. I was later stopped in New Hampshire, and arrested, said warrant came up, and now I am faced with bank fraud charges. I was living in Georgia and came back to visit and had an open account at the bank.These charges were 6 years ago. I feel as though I was a victim in this situation, being that my intent was not to fraud the bank, I believed that the check made out to me was good. Any sugestion on what to do.
