Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
police record2
My case was continued without a finding for 6 months over 5 years ago. Would this show up on a CORI check today? If so ,how could I go about having it cleared from my record? It's the
only time I've been in trouble with the law and
I'm trying to erase that part of my life
Thanks

Re: police record2
A continuance without a finding has two different status in Massachusetts. To employers it is not a
conviction and therefore it does not exist. An employer should not become aware of it. However, in
the criminal justice system it is treated as a conviction.
