Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Police report
Is a police report considered public record. Specifically, if I am arrested for a misdemeanor and my employer were to find out, could they obtain a copy of the police report for their records? (Assume the arrest was personal and had nothing at all to do with the job, but for some reason my employer wanted to know what happened.) Or, in other words, who has access to a police report involving my arrest?
