Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Police Report /Online Newspaper

My girlfriend and I were both arrested for possession of a class b drug. Both of our names and complete address are listed online at a newspaper in Roslindale. Both of our jobs require people to google us and this is going to have an enormously negative effect on our lives/jobs. Do we have any course of action here?

Re: Police Report /Online Newspaper

Newspapers are in the business of printing the news, and drug arrests are news items. Unless there is something inaccurate about the news story, your best course of action from a public relations standpoint would be to get the charges dropped somehow or to be found not guilty. You should consult with your lawyer about your options in that regard.

None.

These are the risks of arrests when interacting with the public and newspapers.

What you really need is a criminal defense attorney to assist you, and if you wish contact me.
