Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Posession: Class D
I was recently pulled over for no plate lights. I was charged with that, uninsured, unregistered motor vehicle, and posession of class D. I just realized that I was supposed to turn in the citation to the court within 4 days. Tomorrow is day 7. What should I do? can i mail it?

Citations are not turned to the court. The usual issue is the police will file a criminal complaint, and invite you to the court to be arraigned. If you were arrested and released, there should be something in your papers with a return date to the court.
If you have any questions, contact either me, or call the district court with jurisdiction and speak to the clerk, without talking about any of the facts surrounding the arrest.
