a few questions for you
Hi i was driving around and got pulled over for my taillight being out at 2 in the moring n sence i was on my JOL i was not supposed to be driving after 12 so the police told me they would give me a ride home an i was 3 mintues away from my house and said thats ok i will call my mom for a ride or walk and they said no we will give you a ride and i said no thats ok an began clling my mom and they said hang up and step out of the car and the cop said we have to search you for safty reasons before you get in the car an i told them i had a perk n less then a gram of weed in my pocket i was arrested an i got a year of probation for my first offence i thought that was crazy. i would like to know if i could take that back to court did they have the right to deny me for callin for a ride home? also if i cant is ther any way i can shorten my proabtion and will i be able to get it termanated early is i pay my fees and pass all my drug test when im half done if i go infront of a judge? i am 17 years old thank you

The police are not required to allow you to call home. From what you describe, for a 17yo, you acted a little suspicious.
As for the sentence, you can file a revise and revoke, and try to reduce the sentence to maybe 6 months.
