Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I received "An application for a Criminal Complaint" for skipping jury duty in Massachusetts due to anxiety problems. I know that is no excuse but my question is should I get a lawyer or just try to explain to the judge my situation. Thanks.
