i was wondering if there is a way of getting something off ur criminal record? and if so how do i go about doing so. the charges were from 1994.

There are ways to seal or expunge a record. The possibilities depend on what it is that you are trying to do, and possibly if you were a juvenile or adult.

There are two procedures to seal a record and a procedure to revise and revoke a sentence if it is not too old. Retain an attorney to help you with this.

Was there a conviction? Admission to facts sufficient? It is important to know what the disposition was, and whether the underlying offense was a felony or a misdemeanor. There are 2 procedural devices for sealing records in Massachusetts. Unlike other states (say, Rhode Island), the record in Mass cannot be expunged, only sealed in some instances.
