Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

release of property

I'd like to know what do you do ,if property that was taken during a police raid is not returned.The charges were dropped,but the P.D.has not or refuses to return items that were taken.Could you give me some advice on how to retrieve the items.The items are very important to running my business and filing taxes for that year.THANK YOU

You can file an action to recover theproperty. This assumes that the property is not contraband.
