Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

Can someone release your provocative pictures without your permission

One of my very close friends (a female friend) in India is getting married within the next couple of weeks. Yesterday she called me in a very panicky state and told me a very horrific story. Apparently a few years back her parents found her a guy on shaadi dot com who promised to marry her. This guy was in the US and used to regularly communicate with her. Once while chatting with her online he persuaded her to strip for him in front of a web cam. When she initially denied, he threatened that he wouldnt marry her. Being young and naive she obliged. Then after a few more months that guy cut total contact with her. They hadnt heard from him for a long time. But yesterday she gets an anonymous email with a snapshot from the webcam chat where she stripped nude for him. Now my question to you is, if he releases the video online, is there any way to get it legally pulled off and bring him to justice. Is there any way to stop him from doing this horrific act of destroying my friends life?
