Rental Stolen
I live in Florida and rented a $2500 LCD projector from a company in Massachusetts. The projector was stolen and I can't pay for a replacement. Can this become a criminal offense?

Once you rent the object, you gain control and responsibility. Unless you took out insurance, or are covered by another form of insurance, such as homeowners, you must make the lender whole.
