Re: restraining order - NO CONTACT!!!

You are playing with fire.

If you have a restraining order against you, why are you talking to her. You are prohibited from contacting her directly or indirectly, except through some one like an attorney.

If you like your liberty, DO NOT TALK OR CONTACT HER.

You are wrong to talk to her!!!

Anything else is irrelevant.

You should have an attorney, given what you are doing. If you need to contact me, you can reach my office today.

Re: restraining order

I do quite a bit of work with restraining orders. Only a judge can lift a restraining order or modify its terms. Agreement of parties or financial arrangements are meaningless outside of court. Restraining Orders are civil matters unless violated, thus there are no fines to be paid. Sometimes the judge will order a payment of restitution, but that would not be optional and its payment would not make the order go away. In short, you are correct and your spouse is wrong.
