Yes. You need to petition the court. There are standards about when and how this can be done.

It is possible for people to get their records sealed. There are some conditions under which the court must seal but most often is is within a judge's discretion and happens as the result of a motion brought by your attorney. Hire a good criminal defense attorney. He can review your record and tell you first, if you should seal it, and second, if you may have it sealed.
