Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Can they seize my home?
I am a resident in the state of Massachusetts. I own my own home and I am thinking of growing marijuana plants ( 5 plants). My question to you is if i were discovered by the police and had to go to court for cultivating marijuana, could the U.S. Government seize my home? What rights would they have in reguards to my home?

If you grow marijuana in your home in Massachusetts both the state and federal governments have the ability to take your home in a forfeiture action.
