Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
Sell online threatening to sue buyer
I sell online and have recently after selling for 10 years had some problems. A few people ''supposeldy'' Did not get their items and both have been sending harassing emails that they are taking all my emails to the feds.
They sent me an email today that said that I am being Indicted in another state and also were told that I am being indicted also in another state then theirs too.
How would they know that? The 2 states that they are referring to, I have sold to people in.
They also said that I am being investigated already.
Would that be something that the feds get into? Selling online and someone not recieving the items?
I am an ebay seller too, With tons of transactions also. And am a stay at home mom
The last thing i need is the police coming to my door.
What are the consequences if someone does not recieve an item?
I mean they received items, But are saying they are the wrong ones. And Can I get arrested for something like this, when I by no means meant to ''scam'' Someone.

Re: Sell online threatening to sue buyer
You can have someone check and find out if there is an indictment. If the indicting authorities have your address, you will get notice. Under some circumstances, there could be a fugitive complaint filed against you, seeking to extreadite you.
I am in Massachusetts, and if you need assistance, contact me.
