Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

no show on court ordered urine test

I am currntly on probation and have to go in for random urine testing as oart of my probation. My first charge was assault back in May, 2005. it was continued without a finding and i was put on probation for 18 months. I also had to attend a group for alchohol abuse and a group for batterers. I have since completed both. in oct. 2005 I was driving without a liscense and got int a car accident. the insurance covered everything but i was charged for operarating with a revoked liscense. i went back to court and was found guilty of the assault charge because i violated my probation. my sentence was suspended and my probation was extended. it is over in march, 2007 and since the accident in 2005 have not had any trouble. i have however missed a couple of tests prior to this but my probation officer excused those. I could not leave work in time to get to the place to take the test. I am wondering what the possibility of serving time for not show up for the test.

From what you described, it is unlikely. If your probation officer excused these, it is probably something that should not concern you.

If there is something that you have not said that makes you wonder about this, then you can contact me, and describe this.
