You don't provide enough information for me to answer your question. For example, what kind of "complaint"? If you're talking about a complaint used to commence a criminal proceeding, at what stage is that legal proceeding? Has the criminal complaint actually issued, or is there only an application for a criminal complaint in the works? Regarding the "signed statement," what kind of signed statement? How was it used? Was it used to support the application for criminal complaint?
