Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
skipping bail to case close
If I am released on bail and decide to become a fugitive from the law can the case be filed as closed without jailtime due to the amount of years that pass without my arrest or capture?

No, no, no.
An open case stays open for ever, or until the death can be proven.
