Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
my son was arrested in Massachusetts and is awaiting his court date. he stopped by the police station to request a copy of the police report and was told that he could not have it as they only give them to victims not suspects. is this legal? shouldn't he be able to read the report in order to form his defense?

You are entitled to discovery including police reports.
