Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

statue of limitations

I am a 20 year old man who was arrested at the age of 17 and convicted of a felony, with drug possession and intent to distribute, ecstasy. i was tried as an adult. I am currently in college and will be completing my education in 2 years. As we all know when you join the real world job applications tend to be your first introductions. On all apps there is that one question that many people do not pay attention to but i have to look for it all the time. Have you ever been convicted of a felony. I was wondering if there is a statue of limitations, as in... 10 years from now can I just skip the question, and if there are other options. My life has been completely turned around and i attend a prestigious university, but i am afraid this conviction will follow me for the rest of my life.

Re: statue of limitations

Perhaps ypu should retain an attorney to consider whether you might be able to revise and revoke your conviction or perhaps have your record sealed.
