Can you tell me what the statute and limitations is for assault & battery in Massachusetts.

I would have to look it up but start out with understanding that you can not hide, move, change your name etc and use the statute of limitation for defense. It is typically 7 years on most things, but I would not advise you to rely on that for your purposes. You should hire someone for a legal opinion if you want reliable information on something like that.
