My suggestion is that you each prepare and sign what is called an "accord and satisfaction," stating that you have received satisfaction for your injury, and that you want the court to drop the charges against the other person. Those accord and satisfaction documents should be presented to the judge at the time of your next pre-trial conference. Hopefully, that will be enough for the judge to drop the charges. Good luck.
