Tag Switching Becomes Larceny over $250
I was shopping at a store and purchased 2 comforters that were marked down, two blankets I switched the tags on for $24.99(orig. $69.99) and one other blanket for 69.99(orig. 129.99). The sales girl rang them out with no problem, but sercurity stopped me because the manager suspected switch prices. I never left the store. And there are absolutly no cameras and no one was around when I switched the tags. Can they charged larceny for those items that had switched tags?
