How much time is allowed from Arraignment to indictment?

Is there a set standard of time that an Indictment must be made?

ive noticed that in some states it is 45. what about massachusetts

There is no set time. I hope that you are being represented by counsel. Have you asked your lawyer? What happens often is a complaint is filed, followed by an indictment memo from the ADA to the main office. This is reviewed to decide if an indictment will be pursued, or if the charges will be reduced & the matter will stay in the district court. Some srious matters almost always are indicted. While in district court, your attorney can seek a probable cause hearing to determine in there is enough evidence to continue this matter. This is information that you should have gotten from your lawyer. If you are not represented by counsel, then you must get one. You don't want to face these issues with out a lawyer.
