Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

traveler cheque of $100.00

I have job pending with P.D. in Ga. I was not aware of warrant for 1oo.oo traveler cheque back in 1986. I do remember dating a older man 45 and I was 23yrs. Gae me the checks not knowing they were stolen. I just found out what do I do to clear my name? Have no clue where this man could be and he's probably dead haven't heard from him since 1987.

The DA is unlikely to have the evidence to convict you. However, the only way to clear the warrant is to surrender yourself to the originating court. I have handled many of these cases for out of state defendants. I typicaly am hired, investigate the case, work out a deal with the DA, and then have the client come up for the one day disposition. Hire a local attorney or myself to handle this for you.

Retain a Massachusetts attorney to resolve the matter in the court from which the warrant issued. Good luck! And Happy New Year.
