Unlawful Entry

Dispatched to home to pick up company equipment.

Basement door unlocked. Entered and secured company equipment.

Left my card at front door. Homeowner charging breaking and entering (?) Unknown to me, after ringing and knocking on door, there was someone in the house. A 11 year old boy who obviously

thought house was being broke into. Contacted by radio by my office, after picking up equipment, I immediately went to the local Police Dept. to try to explain the situation.. ???

You have told the story, but not asked a question. If the question is what will happen, the answer is I don't know. You could be arrested, but that is unlikely. You could get a summons to appear in Court, which is far more likely, or maybe nothing will happen. If you get a summons, you should get a lawyer, because believe it or not, these cases can spin out of control, even when the entry seems to be legal, as in this case.
