Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
hello,
I wanted to ask a question. If someone gave someone a check for rent, but the check they gave was a check under a company name that did not exist is that fraud on the person who wrote the check. If the landlord did not know and cashed the check can he be penalized or get into federal trouble?
