Old warrant, now live out of state

I live in Georgia but found out that there's a 1993 warrant for me from MA because of driving without insurance or something like that. how can i clear this up without coming o massachusetts?

You could have someone check this out, and speak to DA about resolving this matter. As Mr. Kidd stated, you may be able to resolve it on your sole appearance. However, that is no guarantee. The DA may want to check with the registry and you criminal records to check what suggestion they may have.

If the charge is pending you would need to come up to Mass. and personally appear in front of a judge in order to remove the warrant from the system and dispose of the case. If the charge has not been adjudicated there is no way to excuse your appearance that I know of.

If the only charge is driving w/out insurance, it would typically be resolved w/ some sort of fine or fee. You would want to avoid a guilty finding b/c that particual charge carries a mandatory license suspension upon conviction.
