Retain a Massachusetts' attorney to attempt to resolve the matter. Good Luck!
Re: warrant
If you forward your attorney your paperwork, he or she may be able to find out if the District Attorney's office would be able to go forward on the matter. However, you will have to appear in Massachusetts to remove the warrant. "Resolving this matter" is really dependent on the facts.
Re: warrant
Unfortunately you will have to hire an attorney in MA to defend you on the charges. And you will have to come to MA for at least one court appearance, maybe two. By right, the court will not even open the file and look into it until you come to MA and surender yourself on the warrant. They will then set a pretrial conference date and begin to investigate the matter. Typically, I have the defendant's appearance waived for all but the final disposition. Unfortunately, the court will require you to be there to dispose of the case.

It stays alive as long as you do; clear it up - get a lawyer.
