Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts
i have warrents in mass in 3 different courts for violation of probation for non payment of restitution.these charges are from 2005 and were resolved in 2007.i didnt make enough money to survive and pay everyone and also support my children.i recently have lost both of my jobs due to my license bein suspended because of my warrents and have had a 3rd child who was born a few weeks ago.my life is very limited without a drivers license and also with the warrents in mass.it is also keeping me from seeing my children who reside in mass.i desperately want to try to resolve these matters with the departments and kjust wrote all 3 asking if a resolution without incarceration was possible and also explaining my financial hardship now and at the original time of the payment plan and how scared i was for not paying due to keeping a roof over my head and also manditory childsupport sucking up half of my pay every week.was it a good idea to write these probation departments and try to work with them or is gonna only huirt my chances
